Depth, or lack thereof, is what’s left once a company hands every morsel of mechanical, automate-able work off to agents. Does anything good, true, or beautiful remain? Depth cannot be faked, forced, or shortcutted. It is not available for purchase at any price. Depth is downstream of care. It requires devotion to the ongoing dialogue between your business and that which cannot be measured or optimized. A datacenter of geniuses cannot build a deep business, for depth is a singularly human pursuit.
